Summer School Holidays are finally here!!!! If you are looking for something to do with your little ones these holidays that is free or inexpensive then our guide of activities and workshops in and around Cannington is just what you need.

New Years Day community concert and fireworks

Want to bring in the New Year with a bang!! Then the New Years Day community concert and fireworks at Shelly Beach Foreshore is just what you need. There will be live music, kids activities, food stalls and a firework spectacular!!!

Castledare Miniature Railway

At Castledare Miniature Railway you can ride on a locomotive steam train which winds through the banks of the picturesque Canning River. The trains run from Castledare Place, Wilson on the first Sunday of the month from 11am and 3:30pm as well as the third Sunday of every month from the station at Kent Street Weir between 10am and 2pm.

Additional running sessions have been scheduled for these school holidays from the Kent Street Weir station so you will have even more opportunities to ride the train these holidays!!

When: Wednesdays 7th, 14th, 21st and 28th January 2015
